I think 1-2 years for a market cap of 500m is much to long.
Premier investments EBIT 230m first half SUL 280m EBIT first half Kogan sales doubled first half 80m EBIT Redbubble (usa markets) sales doubled JB hifi Record profit first half
Etc etc etc,
With data from website analytics and ABS, looks like Myer is set to completely outperform in the online space in the first half. I would guess 400m - 500m in half year online sales. It has a much better brand then your Kogan's and Redbubble's as its so established.
I have been to the stores 5 times and each time, busy busy busy. Mind you it was the weekend however that's when they make their money so its expected.
If Myer doesn't announce a 200m + EBIT I would be very surprised, considering they have closed two stores in the last 2 months that under performed and layed off extensive staff in the past 18 months.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a solid dividend announcement also, this company is established so its not in a growth phase like Kogan / Redbubble etc.
I think this is a very safe bet right now, considering all things its market cap is 250m.... which is legit laughable compared to its peers all 2b +++
