Yes exactly that is what I was alluding to. My accountant has always said that if i buy over multiple parcels and then partially sell I will need to use the FIFO method. In the past this has not been an issue but with roughly 400 trades this year it's become quite a headache. As an example I did over 60 largely asymmetric trades in CNP and to unravel that now I have had to build a macro enhanced spreadsheet,
In any case all is well now, the spreadsheet is done.
