Connect the dots...
I think Goshawk knows who is buying -- about 6m of the shares they sold a week ago were a single cross-trade.
I think Goshawk knew they (perhaps Origin?) would be buying up again today, hence the 'revised' announcement which served to avoid a speeding ticket. And when the price reached 4c it didn't take long for Goshawk to place another 6m sell order at 3.7c to stop it going over 4c to fast which would have likely led to a speeding ticket.
Once a buyer reaches 5% equity in a company they have 2 days to report it. I have been watching closely, and I think they must be very close to, if not already above, that threshold. And I wonder if it is more than one suitor at work here, perhaps 2 or 3?
GLV, Goshawk, and Squadron: They have nearly 50% of liscences in the Canning Basin, yet Goshawk and Squadron are private entities, therefore GLV is the only access point unless they can cut a deal with one of those 2 private entities... which doesn't seem likely (at the moment) in my mind. Therefore, we have; Origin Energy, Blackmountain Energy, and Theia Energy (another private company) as the most likely contendors. Yet, in my opinion, given Origin's recent farm-in to the blocks directly adjacent (north) of Goshawk's 100% owned licenses that are on strike of Buru Energy's recent oil discovery that is flowing commercially, and was (important to note) annexed from the recent Origin farm-in (and not mentioned in the 2 recent GLV updates), I believe Origin is most likely the recent big buyer that has been driving the price up.
So... With how I perceived the trades today playing out, combined with what I have already observed over the previous week or two, I expect a new substantial holder notice anytime now -- sometime next week at the latest.
Oh, and an important thing to note is that the shares Goshawk have sold are to develop EP 94 and EP 126... all the pieces fit together, painting a picture of what is happening behind the scenes...
Well... Those are just some of my thoughts... Time will tell...
