Shimmer of glimmer
Gold producer Mintails struck a three month high on Thursday as increased investor confidence began to pick up in the riskier small-cap minind sector.
The Africa focused small cap closed at 6c on Thurs, highest since Feb 16 when it closed at 6.5c.
But the stock is still well down on its 52 wk high of 53c a year ago.
The stock has fallen over 80% and was removed from ASX 300 in March.
Mintails owns substantial gold, uranium and sulphur-bearing tailing materials located in SA's Witwatersrand Basin. It recently reported pos cashflow of 16.5m (March qtr) and the completion of the sale of its remaining interest in the Elsburg gold JV boosted its qtr end cash on hand to 21.6m.
