Afternoon folks. A new thread to relieve download times.
Half-time report: the Australian stock market made an unconvincing start to the trading week, dropping 21 points to trade at 3920 at 1 pm. The ASX ignored a positive lead from Wall St as STO and PBG joined a growing list of firms seeking to raise fresh capital this year.
Asian markets were mixed, with Hong Kong ahead but Japan in the red. Gold slipped a couple of dollars.
Dow Jones futures were recently down around 40 points.
Been a morning of meagre returns here. Small profits on bounce trades in HVN, MTS, CPU and ILU. (If we were playing cricket, I'd be Geoff Boycott on a damp pitch.)
Good luck to all this arvo.
