Well have a look at the size of our country. Our transmission lines lose power. They lose power through step up and step down transformers, switching posts, normal electromagnetic power loss.
Im happy to go over superconductors and the issuers they face in reducing power loss, but that can be for another time.

Best thing for greenies to do is educate yourselves and come up with a solar panel that works at night, maybe a wind generator that doesn’t need wind, fission reactor, no waste nuclear, advanced coal scrubbers that reduce pollutants to 0%.

Any one of these and I would invest 100% of my portfolio in it.
