rick santelli has a lot of support in that, even here in aussie. There are many people saying 'hey, I've been careful and taken care of my finances and now I have to cough up for all those tossers who got in way over their heads'. While I think the banks are the most culpable, theres enough blame to share around and the individual tossers deserve some of it. Like, I get none of the stimulus and have to pay higher taxes and the value of my assets have diminished and I've put a lot of work in to build some financial security over many years so yeah, I'm not real happy with the tossers that I'm helping pay to be rescued.
