The corruption in SI and with the Mines and Minerals Dept is entrenched.

Sumitomo left the country around 2016 and many other large companies have done the same (InCo (BHP), Xstrata, St Barbara, Allied Gold) all for the same reasons, corruption and the risk of a political environment where the Government Dept's don't even follow or apply their own laws.
