Applying the compounding ROE "Warren Buffett" style formula to valuation is fine (and this stock is a buy on the many last years ROE) when there is predictable stable recurring revenue....until suddenly the market dynamics of your business changes and revenue is no longer "recurring"?
And management didn't see this known unknown so called (aleged) "black swan" on the horizon?
Give me a break!
That's their job! To manage (properly) this sort of transition...
