Would that be your expectation for experiencing such things as jumping from an aeroplane or climbing a mountain or diving into a cave or attempting your first ice skating backward somersault, or sitting transfixed during a live performance of Bach's St Mathew's Passion, etc, etc, etc, etc .... .. or facing the physical birth of a child ?

Healthy skepticism is a natural guide for those who are healthy and experienced. Otherwise it's just more armour plating.

Being unproven, apparenty untestable/unfalsifiable, how are we to know that psychic abilities are natural and do obey the laws of physics? By what physical mechanism would telekinesis work, for instance. Or psychic healing, crystals, etc?
