good strategy perhaps. One thing thats worrying me about the selloff is that its being led by the morning crew, usually retail traders, but the professional crew are buying up a bit at the end of the day. That could be one definition of a shakeout by the insto traders.
But longer term, few days or a week, the 'sell the pop' strategy might also work on any rise above the 200ma before the 50ma crosses it, and there are signs that the professionals are a bit impatient to make that jump. Or maybe its desperation. Imagine what another test of the march lows would do to the capital ratios of usa banks. .
