Thanks for your comments blokes.I understand the risks and am going into this with eyes open in terms of a potential loss. I think its better to ask questions than to remain blissfully ignorant - as someone else said this is a good question.

You say they send paper work out five to six weeks before. If this is the case and I sell them the day before they close off trading (assumeing that this is in June) what happens then - how does the other party get the paperwork ? Or is the close date for trading sOoner than this ? ie in May.
