Not so promising perhaps. I'm no lawyer, but I think shareholders rank after unsecured creditors unless they establish legal claims in accordance with the Sons of Gwalia precedent eg they were deceived or misled and can establish a consequential loss. In which case they rank alongside other unsecured creditors when the remaining funds are divided up.
