You might be right over the target there Baron but one could even go a step further. If I was Alastair I'd make it clear that I wanted them out before the announcement. Sure, it's a big game but it's too small to p!ss people off. Hartleys would exit to a timeframe to retain their rapport if they were asked.

The most notable thing for me is this. If I were Alastair & the potential deal had gone south, I'd be straight on the phone to Danika feeding the punters some happy news about drill results to keep them occupied. We see none of that.

His track record on timing is superb. He's well aware that he's late . . . & he's just not the lazy type. . . but he's got form shutting his mouth when a deal is being done.

As I've said before: he was more than happy to cop a few body blows from holders before the Morila deal . . . which ended in a knockout.

The signs are all there, you've just got to see them. Patience required grasshoppers: not long now.
