Cost of panels, effective power from a 300w panel during how many hours of daylight, panels put of DC or AC, if DC then what do you need to add for AC conversion (for you Mr. Google, all power feeds/transmission lines are AC) Land area to clear? When you add batteries, because there is no sunshine at night, by what factor does the capacity of the solar infrastructure need to increase by to provide base load (for you, that means reliable uninterrupted power) as well as potential (for you simple Simon - stored energy) energy?

You didn't say anything as to why China (sellers of solar and 'renewables) are building over 1000 coal fired power stations. If it's so cheap then why don't they use their own manufacture 'cheap' solar panels? You won't say as it makes you look like a fool.
