    Hi TassieTwo,
This is my personal opinion only. I am a minor shareholder, with no connection with management.

Look if nobody took up their options, the company would be short of cash and a plan "B" would be needed. The minimum option take-up is 100,000,000 options at 1c each, raising $1 million, with the potential to raise another $4 million one year later. The maximum option take-up is 300,000,000 options with an immediate cash boost of $3 million and a probable future cash boost of another $12 million one year later.

If the maximum option take-up was achieved, the share value would rocket ahead, because you would then have a cash rich company with "the cure for cancer" in their sights.

The way the offer is presented, is fairly unique because, shareholders can apply for one option for every one share they own on the registration date. But any shareholder can apply to purchase as many additional options as they
    like.

Thus if 33% of available options were taken-up, but each of these owners applied for additional options to 2x the value of their allocation, the maximum target can still be achieved.(eg allocated 100,000 options (cost $1000) but purchase additional 200.000 options (additional cost $2000 ; total cost $3000)

The potential of doing extremely well with the shares would be "guarenteed", and the potential to make a killing on the options would be "automatic".

Why anyone would want to sell their shares at 3.2c today is beyond my comprehension. They would have had to have bought them for a lot more. Therefore they are making a massive loss. Why would you do this? Faint hearted? Have other commitments, due to the economic downturn?

Fortunely, there is strong support at the 3c mark and lots of buyers are entering the market, whilst sellers are now evaporating. Shares could easily be back to 3.7c to 4c by the end of the week.

Once all those sitting on the side lines (wondering what to do)see the obvious upward trend, they will re-enter the market and that then would set up a snowball effect.

Viralytics is a much improved and better positioned company since November 2007 when it was trading at 8.5c.
There has been no negative press regarding this company since then and only the economic downturn can explain the present share value.

TassieTwo, all you shareholders, have the power to realise a self-fulfilling prophecy merely by taking up your options and a few more. The downside is really only a time factor. The upside is exactly what you dreamt of! Cheers
