Australians are 'certainly allowed to return to their own country' but in very limited numbers, and not without quarantining at one's expense (although states like recalcitrant Victoria have yet to send a single invoice to returnees).
Why would you be 'confident' about no more State border closures when in particular the three Labor Premiers (Vic, Qld and WA) have demonstrated time and time again they'll shut these even for a tiny number of interstate cases?
