Increase in price yes but I don't think there has been an increase in demand yet. Inventories are still low, demand has been lost(due to financial criss) but this has been balanced out by loss of supply. Lets hope demand appears over the coming months. I think the tin price will have to recover a good bit more before mak can attract the investment needed to open a tin mine or two. (or sell it's tin assets for a good $$). At the current tin price I suspect mak's tin projects would not be economic but tin has excellent fundamentals and I believe there is a very real chance the tin price will be a lot higher in the medium/long term. Tin producer = mlx, that's were my tin investment $$ are. Not many people on hotcopper following tin.
