If Singapore Airlines or another well regarded Asian airline took over Qantas, service levels would improve dramatically. No more lazy cabin service or couldn't care less attitude.

Most of us don't use Qantas when we go overseas. It has a market share (Group) of well under 30 per cent in 'normal times'.

Qantas is at least 35pc foreign owned and probably higher up to the limit of c.49 per cent allowed by the Qantas Sale Act.

During coronavirus, Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways and others have maintained services to and from Australia but Qantas has only done so when its flights have been paid for or subsidised by Australoian taxpayers through our terrific Federal Government and Prime Minister in Scomo.

So QAN ought stop trading on this rubbish that it's 'the national carrier!'
