and as the pandemic recedes, so will BNPL. All those bored, at home people buying things they don't really need, with money they don't have will end as they venture out into society once more. It will equate to less time at home bored in front of the laptop.
Afterpay founders know this, that's why they are cashing a bit in. I think we have seen the highs. Don't think all the BNPL players can survive the shrinking pool of people buying on 'tic'. One in 3 struggling to make repayments? Don't forget regulation will come and it will be a hard blow.
