I've been lurking here since 2007 holding on and pouring years of wages into Lynas through thick and thin, my first parcel of Lynas was at .45c which 10-bagged before I started buying more and more which averaged me up and I lost the 10 bag. I kept buying all through the GFC and then the spike to $25 which averaged me right up to 7.55 and then it dropped to nothing around 2014. My wife at that point ordered me to give up as I had lost our life savings.

Another 6 years passed, I put my efforts into a mortgage instead while the price fluctuated between $1-2 ish for years.

Been through some dark times. Sometimes it's hard to believe we are at the pointy end. I tried to forget about stocks from 2014 to 2020. Around September 2020 I noticed my portfolio value had started to increase so I checked to see which companies they were and it was Lynas.

Cracking $6.00 today was huge for me. It's been 7 years since we last saw $6 and that was during the climb and decline from $25 which was purely based on speculation - i.e. "the rumour". Today's sixer was earnt. Very different. An achievement.

I've now averaged down to $5.00 and we are no longer tens of thousands in the red. It's all green now. Whether it was worth the PTSD is yet to be determined.
