they guy on jjj was a nutter. he compared govt debt to a business debt in that the govt can lend to buy asset and seek a return on investment. not sure where he learnt accounting and economics, but the govt arent here to maximise the return on investment. they are here to provide basic community services, not stimulate me a plasma and a new 4wd each year....
