The plan was to go to Oakajee - but that was dependant on OPR building most of rail and the port, then us building our own rail to connect. But seeing that plan went out the window, it comes back to Esperance as our best option for volume. (6B capex was needed for Oakajee development)

My guess is we will only use Geraldton for Phase 1 and Phase 2. Despite being closest the infrastructure just isn't there and too expensive to build. Phase 3 announcement will come with transition plans to Esperance, as well as funds invested to either build a connecting rail or a fleet of trucks to cover the first 320km.
