I like to see what everyone think about “opportunity cost”
The reason i ask, is a few stock I owned that the sp didn’t not performed well in the past year. Like atomo and a number of people said they missed opportunity.
What is opportunity? How do you measure the cost?
By buying a share, I have opportunity to gain or loss. Is this also true if I say somehow avoided losing more?
I just don’t understand “opportunity cost” can be something to identify a poor investment. We all make investments decision based on risk. if opportunity can be see before it happened, yes it is a cost. But now it just an outcome and could be either way.
