Ask an accountant about costs and they'll tell you to look at the book value of something. Ask a financial planner and they'll tell you to be concerned with the net present value of cash flows. Ask an economists and they'll tell you to consider opportunity costs. All methods of valuation should be considered. Not just a stand alone single one.
But don't stress. AT1 products hold both value and growing consumer demand within the market. I think once we see the OEM and HIV side of the business gain traction many of us will be kicking ourselves for not buying more at this price!
