The board is unanimous (and includes representative of major holders). If the Coopers vote against it, their 14.7% will most likely be outvoted by just the other top 3 (who have more than 3x Copper’s holdings) What’s more there hasn’t even been a peep out of them.

I’m a little disappointed that another party hasn’t entered the ring to bid this up a notch. Still a chance post 1H results announcement - but getting less likely by the day. So I think we just need to sit and wait for the remaining 6% (tho SP will get closer as May approaches).

As an aside, looking at the annual report shareholder tables, I just realised I’m within the top 69 shareholders for RDF ... now that really brings a smile to my face!

I have to say, well done SimonGr on this one. Great commentary and that helped me with my HOLD for a long time. I've followed this one since pre the 2012 takeover offer was rejected. Unbelievable at the time. Watched it for ages and then traded it a bit. Luckily I was at my max for that stock when the latest T/O offer came in. But geez, I have to say I've seriously considered selling out and taking it off the watch list numerous times over the years. Learnt lots with this stock.
