DC, so sorry you were offended by my interpretation of what you were saying, though I repeat it's the closest I've seen to someone coming 'clean' in support of manipulation, so it was very welcome in that regard......and indeed we may be closer to the core issue with your typically simplistic analogies about interest rates being confused with manipulation, given that interest rates have always been considered one of the two 'legitimate' mechanisms a central bank can use to control inflationary pressures in an economy.......and you have again hit the nail on the head because once a fiat system was brought into being along with its 'quantative easing'....the printing of money (i.e. counterfeiting), the boundary of managing an economy to manipulating an economy were well and truly crossed and withn the accompanying power that resulted from that corrupt the pockets began to be lined........I suggest some historic readings......and once again thankyou too much.
