treggs, ok, I accept that its original. Sometimes you come to things your own way and someone else has been there. Its still original, and there are sufficient variations on any one approach to allow a genuine multiplicity of original approaches within the same broad angle.

I haven't looked at your approach in detail and probably need to do backtests etc etc but it does look like a moving average of a moving average approach that I've seen before and, yes, I did marvel at its accuracy and simplicity and reliability. Coming at this individually is quite an achievement. cheers!
