Gee, you should have been here before the moderators arrived. It was like a jungle with dustups and pub brawls occurring on nearly every thread! The post throughput was at least 4 times what it is now. But it never worried me. In fact, I found hc exciting, interesting and more entertaining back then. IMO hc was a more effective trading tool then too because in markets emotion serves as an attractor toward significance.

I made huge gains by doing nothing more than following the emotion and excitement to its source. Particularly if all the dominant posters were there. Once I made 40K in one hour because they were all shooting off their mouths on CDU when it started up. Talk about a rocket launch! The same sort of things are happening daily now but you cant see them anymore because the emotion has been dulled down due to the moderation.

I'm not saying moderation is a bad thing, I'm only saying that stock markets were meant for being emotive and exciting places and it is a harder game to play when the emotion is subtracted from the process.

So I guess what I am saying is if you cant handle the heat then perhaps you should get out of the kitchen.
