BlueMonday, I wasn't able to find exactly how much macquarie are trying raise in this public offering but i assume it's similar to the amount offered to institutional investors (around 540 million).
Lets make some broad assumptions:
- The full 540 million gets issued
- 50% of investors plan to dump the share on the date of issue
540 million @ $26.6 is ~20 million shares. The average volume for MQG is around 3.5 million per day.
Just looking at these figures i'm not sure the 12th of June is going to be a very pretty day for MQG.
What are your thoughts on this??
