I saw that PLIOPS mention and thought it may be a competitor. After a quick read of their website, all it does is accelerates current tech data-processing and reduces power. It would appear the benefits are many orders of magnitude below what 4DS is developing.
In fact, much of the PLIOPS pitch seems to reinforce the need for SCM.
