It is hard to envisage a bidder offering 2 or 3 times the current share price, simply pie in the sky. This is why I hope that the sp is up before any mooted bis is made.
In my view to think that with the sp at about a dollar that we will be offered $3 is a bit like believing in the tooth fairy.I am happy to be wrong.
If though a bid is confidently expected at a $1.50 or better then if we have any cash we would be sensible to buy stock now and make a 50% profit quickly. This will have another beneficial effect that of moving the sp higher and thus perhaps forcing a higher bid should a take over be more than just chat.
