I think premium doesn't necessarily only means expensive sport cars. It can also mean high cycle life and high reliability, which would be results of higher purity because of less chance of dendrites building up within the battery.

So anything where long life is of major importance, like high utility vehicles (busses, trucks, company car fleets, robotaxi) and ESS could be good targets. Here at the consumer price level, a better quality lithium adds few extra % to the price, but could mean a difference of several hundred thousand miles extra lifetime in case of vehicles, or decades(s) more for ESS which makes a huge difference in the business case buyers are calculating.
