I posted an article last year which actually indicated that the 750 in radiation hardened form for use by NASA was by itself about $200,000.
I made the point at the time that even if it cost 20 times more to produce a hardened AKD1000 it was still a bargain for NASA and certainly qualified it for SWaP.
My opinion only DYOR.
