no but the Greenwood lynchings in Oklahoma did.. in fact they burnt and pillaged a whole town centre and surrounds on the basis of a black kid stuck in an elevator full of people apparently touching a white female in said elevator
you see, you have a fixation on the 'proof' of BLM yet all the historical facts and we could just reel them off pages and pages of them point to the systemic racism and furthermore violence inflicted upon the African Americans since emancipation, in clear response to their integration into society
I do not endorse looting and burning of course but your continual search for validation of the evil of BLM, as a counter to the obvious and factual re emergence of right wing extremism pervading American society and it's coming here
If the poor and the disadvantaged take to the streets you know there's a problem because usually and in general, they lack the resources to organise and they have no influence via corporate, media or govt avenues
Businesses got damaged property got damaged, well that's what we have insurance for.. it is so narrow minded to view BLM through the lens of property damage .. are you actually serious ?
Right wing extremism is a far greater evil and even worse it has precedent so no wonder the people want to go on the street because they know what comes next if it expands
African Americans are icons of sport, music, culture, literature, and yet you want to belittle the struggle on the basis of damaged property ? They sell their souls for your entertainment and you want to go on about a few shops being looted
Why don't you just sew a swastika onto your sleeve and get yourself a uniform and some flags and start protesting in the street about black people who damage property and how they should be punished
dont waste so much time posting on HotCopper and get into action !
