ozwire, the well "blowing its top" has nothing to do with the amount of fractures that have been created. The pressure at the well head is related to the pressures created by the temperature of the water below. This will not change with additional fractures. The extra fractures should increase flow, but not temperatures.
Remember also that when this issue occurred, the well was shut off after the 6 week flow testing.
