Long time lurker and decided to get involved. I know the ground well as I did a few years of part time prospecting in the Leo area late 90's and early 2000's.
Summers is a lawyer and not a miner so he does things that traditional mining companies wouldnt dream of, so how about this for an idea.
Just up the road is Jaguar the copper mine. Our head Geo is ex Jaguar. We now have pending exploration lease to the East of Jaguar. Jaguar is running out of ore when the bently deposit closes in three years or so. Jaguar has an existing processing plant even though it is not suitable for gold, but it has all the permits etc in place. Jaguar is owned by a company which I cant remember the name of but they are not listed on the asx and they have plenty of money. Just a thought from left field.

I walked over a lot of the diorite area when it was pending for jupiter and again when it was pending for bligh. Stirling area was always held by local real estaters and was off limits most of the time, but we still would drive through it.

Diorite area is totally different to the stirling area with the ground in between a mixture of both.
SOG were looking at the ursus shear back in the 90's and discovered cerbus and the other ones that red have since drilled out. price of gold then meant it wasn't a priority and they were too busy doing too much everywhere else. Stirling area was above their ground so they didnt go there. A small pit is below the Stirling area it belongs to a local, no idea what is being done there but I could make a few phoncalls and find out.
Great days out there waving detector around and I miss them but health won't allow that anymore so I have to prospect on disallowed instead.
