The only two reasons I would buy oppies at the moment are as follows-
1/ I am 100% confident that SYA shares will be significantly higher in the future and buying oppies allows me to leverage my current purchasing power x 2 so that i can buy twice as many oppies now and make bigger profits when I convert to shares down the track
2/ I am very uncertain that SYA share price will be higher in the future so buying oppies commits less funds ie risk now , in case I choose not to want to convert down the track due to SYA falling in a hole share price wise , thus minimising potential losses.
If you are like me and fall somewhere between these two examples, then its probably better to by shares than oppies.
