I think Lefevre is a more connected investor than I am so he seems to get plenty of seed/series A/B opportunities.. lol
If you start taking placements and pre-IPO positions then eventually the brokers know who you are and you’ll get offered more and more. They get paid from selling things so they need buyers, if you just use cheap online broking then no one knows who you are so you have no value to them. Just takes a bit of higher commissions to start the network effect.
I’ve wiped out twice and have had to rebuild back to where I am so probably better to listen to more intelligent investors than me! Follow Lefevre, he doesn’t say a lot but seems to get it right a lot of the time.
