I think he is using it as a guide to what the market cap should be ie 5x revenue of $5Bn is a mkt cap of $25Bn. Of course if we are achieving such revenue then 10 to 20X is not unreasonable as a multiplier.
It did occur to me that the current yearly growth in procedures would not be growing as fast if our product becomes the market leader - since there will be less repeat operations needed given the longer life span of the Adapt valves but that is a nice problem to have to worry about some time in the next decade.
