I really don't think we can compare Australia to the USA

the USA have pretty much the most horrible practices - AND laws that protect such practices

one would have to go and research the changes to the US chemical act

- a few years back now - can't remember - not all that long back -- trying to reform some of the act that was in the 1970's -

where the 'chemicals' had legal protection - but, people didn't

bloody unbelievable

Oz has had and has bad practices - but, they have never been that bad
