I find the whole trolling game intriguing. Create a new profile, choose a target company, and lob a few grenades. The 4 or 5 comment history that inevitably accompanies such accounts sticks out like the b@lls on a bulldog. All that would be forgiven, if such people were well researched.

Surely a good troll wants to put credible arguments across. Get the faint of heart a little concerned, in the hope they sell en masse and cause a little dip. That's the ultimate end game in most cases, right? Shorting?

When however, the approach is akin to starting a new job on the fries at McDonalds, and then emailing the CEO suggesting, in considering future franchises, land ownership might be a decent strategy, there is a definite credibility issue.

Without spending the time to do the most basic research, and see what is actually happening already, how can somebody expect to have any credibility in suggesting improvements?

It's like watching (in his case it's intentional and genius) Ricky Gervais in The Office - I'm sort of enjoying the discomfort of being embarrassed for someone, from a safe distance, in a voyeuristic kind of way........
