Yea that's fine, but as always there is no such thing as a blanket rule for investing. Not everyone is confidence enough to trade a stock like Z1P. In fact, I'm pretty sure most people that trade meme stocks like Z1P hang out on ASX_bets and post weekly photos of their losses, part of the impressive pornloss movement.
For the average Joe a buy and hold strategy will always outperform. Obviously buying at the top isn't ideal but the majority of posters on Z1P forum have held for a very long time so your point is somewhat mute. And call me oldschool, but if you buy a meme stock at $14 when it's run up 200% in a few weeks, then that's a good lesson for these people and will hopefully make them better investors in the future.
