I admire your patience and hold-fast attitude and I hope it pays off. I hate those "if only" situations - life is full of them. Good luck to you. My issues are usually miss-timed sells as opposed to miss-timed buys. I'm a cheap-ass bargain hunter (not a big roller either so 0.009 vs 0.01 makes little difference to me) but tend to be too conservative on the profit taking - in other words, I need to learn to be more greedy!
