When you dwell on 'cause and effect' analysis, you play right into the hands of those who want you to think that gold is somehow inferior to Junkcoin and all its offshoots.
What I'm interested in,and what I profit from, is the end result; in this case, the gold price. I don't care how we got to this gold price, but only the fact that we're there. Mentioning bitcoin in the same breath as gold is a discussion non-starter. The former is a wildly speculative instrument, and the latter protection against fiat devaluation. It is also not a playground for Musk to play in, but I believe is what will ultimately resume it's rightful place in the pecking order as 'real money' ,backing any future form of a blockchain based monetary system. This may of may not ultimately be Bitcoin,but until such time as IT is backed by gold, as an investor, it will forever be Junkcoin,
