sorry, just a simpleton but that logic doesn’t
compute in my simple brain. Surely
you need to compare dollar amount invested. So using your example of a $30 share price:
$40k @10c is 400,000 shares = $11,999,960 profit
$40k @ $4 is 10,000 shares = $260,000 profit
really a pointless exercise to compare anyway.
