From what I get, all this stimulus and economic support that is around should ignite spending and demand for goods and services etc. Which should cause prices to rise i.e. inflation. The typical way to deal with inflation is to raise the cash rate. Which makes debt more expensive whether a home loan or business loan etc. Stock markets dont like interest rate rises, banking/money lending stocks do, but not much else. So there is a rotation out of growth/momentum stocks and into value/traditional slower paced solid trustworthy stuff. Throw in rising bond yields and who wouldn't want ultra safe 1.57% returns - virtually risk free?
