As I said I would, I spent hours last night going through everything CRO and AF. I urge everyone to listen to this entire podcast that was recorded in October last year. It is the most successful summary of the potential of CRO, but also the best insight into AF, raw and uncut. For those who don't understand the importance of what AF did for Bunnings, he pushed them into online marketing before Amazon even existed and allowed them to grow their business exponentially. Perhaps if AF wasn't a guy from the sleepy backwater of Perth, he would have been an global sensation 20 years ago. What I went on to find out was that AF has created and built numerous technologies which he has sold. That's how he's been making a living, all the while working towards this pioneering technology is is now making it's mark as Spenda in CRO.
So the summation of what I have found out is that THIS is the right time at last- there is now enough overseas interest (FISERV/VISA/MASTERCARD) and enough self-belief to make this technology global. Like others, I'm sure, sometimes I get disheartened, especially reading downrampers, and I worry- have I made the right decision investing so heavily in this company? But the reality is, it IS happening, carefully and methodically, with necessary delays, with frustrating waits. But AF has a long history of success, of tenacity and vision, so I'm in this for the long haul. He is an emerging tall poppy and I have no intention of listening to people who want to cut him down. I think it is time we all showed some respect for both AF and CRO.
