You are incorrect, it isn't about opinion here. The PainChek app is NOT moving to NRS instead of APS, the NRS is an addition to the APS. The NRS is not an assessment, it is a self reported pain scale.

The NRS would literally make the concept of PainChek void, as people who cannot verbalise their pain would still not be able to do so.

I have it in writing from PD that the NRS is an addition and that the update to the application (linked to the Universal rebranding of the app) is on the back of requests from current and potential clients in both RAC, and hospitals. Although you don't need it in writing - it is obvious from the announcements and communications.
