Sorry to get to you so late, I've had a busy day away from the screen.

Yes the well logging referred to "fine to coarse grained unconsolidated sandstone" on that first zone. Whether the unconsolidated nature exists at depth is very relevant - it would be interesting to know more about grain texture and degree of cementation (if any), but short of that my view is that porosity will be good, and very likely permeability will be good for gas flows.
I would also suggest that this 190 feet zone, may in fact be a sequence of intercalated fine and coarse grained sandstone units, that might collectively be seen as one entire pay zone - effectively separate gas-rich zones that seem to coalesce to form the entire 190 feet gas-rich zone. Thus the pay thickness may be slightly more complicated than the logging to date. Wireline logging will provide a lot more insight. It would be good to see the true correlation between the seismic amplitudes and actual rock units logged in the hole.
The reason I mention that is because when the drill gets down to the substantially greater thickness of interpreted gas-rich zones it's very likely that we have a similar aggregation of intercalated fine and coarse sandstone units, which in aggregate could have the company giving up with calling TH 's every day!
And if there are intercalated fine and coarse grain sandstone over such a huge thickness of gas indicated there's more chance there will be permeable zones within which gas will flow.
